With over 40 years of experience living in various countries in Africa and working closely with African governments and communities, our mission is to empower local populations by harnessing their talents and fostering self-reliance, supporting the development of Africa: driven by Africans for Africans. Our diverse global team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, enhancing our ability to create impactful and sustainable change.

CEO

Roberto, previously the Director for Sustainable Growth and Development at the European Commission, and Ambassador across Africa and Pacific regions, brings a vast wealth of knowledge with a career spanning 40 years at international level. A pioneer in sustainable finance and financial blending, he has devoted most of his life to developing and funding high impact ventures across developing economies. In AWA FARO he reverts his ambitions in sustainable business development to decarbonise telecoms, launch new sustainable agriculture ventures and promote sustainable supply chains to manage resources such as forests and critical minerals.

With over 30 years living and working in Nigeria, he has developed a deep understanding of the African market and built a strong network of collaborators worldwide.
